Justin is dedicated to crafting proactive tax planning strategies to increase cash flow and minimize tax liability to the full extent of the tax code for his clients!! This allows his clients to keep money in their pockets, lets more of their money work for them through preferred investing approaches, and frees up cash flow for continued growth of their businesses. Justin strives on taking advantage of all the credits, deductions, and loopholes available to our clients.
Justin worked at HGE Enterprises, Inc. as a business and tax consultant from 2015 to June of 2019 completing individual and business tax returns along with providing tax planning and business consulting. Justin began his career as the Director of Finance at the Pensacola Museum of Art. Prior to starting at the museum, he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of West Florida.
Justin is currently an Enrolled Agent (EA), Certified Tax Planner (CTP), Certified Tax Coach (CTC), Certified QuickBooks Advisor (CQA), and has his Life (including annuities & variable contracts) and Health Agent license. He has passed his Series 6 - Investment Company Products/Variable Contracts Representative, Series 7 - General Securities Representative and Series 66 - NASAA-Uniform Combined State Law Exam, and is a registered representative and investment advisor representative with Avantax.
Justin is currently a big brother in the Pensacola Big Brothers Big Sisters program, a Take Stock in Children award-recipient who enjoys sharing his story with prospective kids and parents, and involved in a number of other nonprofits. He is a member of the National Society of Tax Professionals (NSTP), National Association of Enrolled Agents (NAEA), National Association of Certified QuickBooks Advisors (NACQA), American Institute of Certified Tax Planners (AICTP), and National Association of Tax Professionals (NATP).
Justin is an avid runner - in 2015 he completed the Boston Marathon. Justin helps coach Choctawhatchee High School’s cross country team and leads a marathon training group at Running Wild in Pensacola. He spends time with his family above all else, and is active in Empower, Pensacola Young Professionals, YP at the Beach, Tri Gulf Coast, and running communities.
